Being the visible
body of Christ in the territory assigned to St. Francis de Sales
Parish and conscious of our founding as a congregation in 1722, we the
community of St. Francis de Sales, state that we come to joyously worship
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to strive for full justice in our
personal and public affairs, to reverence and care for the earth and its
bounty, to bring glad tidings to the poor and the oppressed, to heal the
many wounds that abound in every life and to live our lives in such a way
that all who see us will truly know that God indeed exists. We
invite all persons to come and taste how sweet the Lord is! |
